About the Layout Owner
I have a been a model railroader for 45+ years. I started in N scale but wanted bigger scale. I changed to HO after about 10 years in N scale. I modeled AT&SF In N scale. I started doing UP and MP in HO.

I grew up close to Rock Island Armourdale Yard . When I started planning this layout, I chose Rock Island, at that time I was one of a few in KC that was doing Rock Island.
